The DV8 Xtract Hitch Skid Plate is a smart addition for off-road vehicles that regularly encounter rocks, ledges, or steep departures on the trail. By mounting directly into your 2-inch hitch receiver, it protects the hitch and rear crossmember from trail impacts while also adding a strong rear recovery point when needed.
Constructed from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the Xtract Hitch Skid is designed to take abuse while keeping weight low. A replaceable Delrin skid pad helps reduce friction when the hitch contacts rocks, allowing the vehicle to slide instead of catching on obstacles.
The integrated 1-inch thick shackle mount supports a ¾-inch D-ring and a 13,000 lb working load limit, making it a practical recovery solution for off-road situations.
